Harley J. Keiser, 80, formerly of Point Place, died Tuesday evening at Fremont's Memorial Hospital. He had been a patient at Parkview Care Center the past seven years. Born April 24, 1907, in Bettsville to Clarence and Verna (Weaver) Keiser, he had worked at the Rossford plant of the Libby Owens Fort for 18 years as a security guard, retiring in 1973. He had also farmed in the Maple Grove area. Surviving are sisters, Elva Smith and Annabelle Linker, both of Fremont and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded by a brother, Elwood and a sister, Lois Lance. Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in the Weller-Wonderly Funeral Home, with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation is today from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Memorials may be made to the East Side United Presbyterian Church, of which he was a member.
