Jeanette Sawyer, age 79, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 3, 2015.
She was a devoted and faithful member of Glendale United Methodist Church, a retired teacher’s aide from Centerview School, and a loving wife, mother and friend.
She is preceded in death by her husband Herbert Sawyer, mother Anna Kelley, father Jonah Kelley, sister Barbara Russell, brothers Carroll and Edward Kelley, nephews Steve Kelley, William Holdway, and niece Erma Jean Moore.
She is survived by her son, Randall Sawyer, daughter-in-law, Kathy Sawyer, brothers Paul and Charles Kelley, beloved fiancé Glenn Gray, nephews Dan Easterly, Richard Parrott, Larry, Gary Ronald and Tony Sawyer, Roger, Troy, Rodney, and Barry Kelley, Ryan Russell, nieces Linda Steele, Vicky Taylor, Susan Greene, Keela Phillips, Paula Newsome, Cathy Kelley, Kelley Russell, Dona Gilbert and Ramona Green.
The family will receive friends 6-8pm on Tuesday, October 6 at Manes Funeral Home in Newport. Funeral services will be held 2 pm Wednesday, October 7 at Glendale United Methodist Church in Bybee. Burial will follow in the Glendale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Glendale Cemetery Fund, 3315 Glendale Road, Bybee, TN 37713.
