Nell Florence COWAN was the daughter of William Bruce COWAN and wife Emily NEWLIN, both also of Vermilion County, Illinois.
Nell married Roland Willis AMOLD on October 17, 1905 in Vermilion Co, Illinois, then they moved to Jacksonville, Duval County, Florida.
Nell and Roland had only two children: daughter Elizabeth Florence AMOLD (my husband's grandmother) and son Robert William "Bob" AMOLD.
Roland Willis AMOLD and Nell Florence COWAN are husband's paternal great-grandparents. She was a gentle, kind and good natured woman.
