Mary married Daniel McBride on Jan. 28, 1866 in Hunt Co. Texas. Mary, age 25, born Alabama, appears in home with husband Daniel on the 1870 Hunt Co. Texas census, Dist. 4, Lone Oak P.O. Also in home were children Nancy age 3 and Martha McBride, age 1, both born in Hunt Co. TX. Also on that 1870 census in Mary and Daniel's home is a female named Ellen Foster McBride, age 15, born Texas. I believe Ellen was Mary's younger sister and listed beneath Ellen is an Edwin McBride, age 23, born Louisiana. I believe they were husband and wife, can't find he's kin to Daniel McBride but he probably was but not finding them on later census. Info. from other family trees have Mary had a son named John Thomas McBride on Nov. 8, 1870. Mary dies a few days later, according to info. found from other trees this son dies July 23, 1871.
