Rosemary (Heldt) Nelson, 83

Rosemary was born to Charles and Mary Heldt. She had two sisters and a brother.

She was married to Donald Nelson, and the couple were blessed by five daughters, seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and five step-great-grandchildren.

Rosemary worked many years at the Good Shepherd Home in Blair, Nebraska, retiring in 2004.

She loved to play cards (only when she won), watch sporting events, and keep up with her children and grandchildren's activities. She never tired of taking pride in her family's latest achievements.

Rosemary Nelson entered eternity September 21, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, a brother Norold Heldt, and brother-in-law Dale Nelson.

Left to cherish her memory are daughters Kathy (Gary) Bahm of Mondamin, IA, Kristy (Tom) Hoffman of Lincoln, NE, Kelly (Dan) Boston of Olathe, KS, Karla (Barry) Moore of Elkhorn, NE, Karol (Norman) Svoboda of Blair, NE; grandchildren; Blake, Zak and Lindsey Moore, Lauren Boston, Morgan (Riley) Gross, Nicole and Tommy Hoffman, and two step-grandchildren; Chris (Katie) Bahm and Nikki (Donny) Slaby, two great-grandchildren and five step great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her sister Catherine Nelson of St. Edward, NE, and Eleanor (Wendell) Philmalee of Maple Grove, MN, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will begin at 3 pm Thursday, September 24, with family receiving friends 5-7 pm, followed at 7 pm by a Vigil Service, at Campbell-Aman Funeral Home, Blair, Nebraska. A funeral mass will be held 10 am Friday at St. Francis Borgia Church in Blair, Nebraska. Memorials are suggested to St. Francis Borgia Catholic Church or to Crowell Memorial Home in Blair, Nebraska.
