ANNA B., age 79 of Bentley Creek, PA, passed away on Monday, November 19, 2001 at home following an extended illness. She was born on September 12, 1922, one of 12 children of the late Earl and Helen Weed. Anna was retired from Ann Page in Horseheads, NY. She was a member of the Bentley Creek Baptist Church.
Anna is survived by her husband of 58 years, Ethan H. Lewis of Bentley Creek, PA; daughters, Sharon (John) Whitford of Bentley Creek, PA, Dolores (Thomas) Ewing of Jackson, NJ, and Jacalyn (David) Powell of Westminster, MD; seven grandchildren; one great grandson; brother, Edwin Weed of Breesport, NY; sisters, Elsie Crane of East Smithfield, PA, and Mildred Burns of Elmira Heights, NY.
Family and friends are invited to call at Roberts Funeral Home, 279 Main Street, Wellsburg, NY on Wednesday, November 21, 2001 from 6 to 8 PM. The funeral service will immediately follow at 8 PM at the funeral home with the Reverend Rick Wulf, pastor of the Bentley Creek Baptist Church, officiating. A graveside service will be held at the Bentley Creek Cemetery, Bentley Creek, PA, on Friday, November 23, 2001 at 10 AM.
