" Built for W. Rosenlew & Co, Bjorneborg; Date of completion September 1890;....
Vessel torpedoed by UB-21 whilst under the command of Walter Scheffer.
The torpedo struck the starboard side of the bow which blew the forecastle away and
she sank in three minutes, with the loss of 3 of her crew of 20.
Two firemen sleeping in the forecastle were killed. The boatswain died about 20 minutes after being picked up at by the steam trawler PERSEVERANCE and landed at Whitby."
