Milos Katic, age 86, of Crown Point, IN passed away on August 29, 2011. He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Mary; four children: Steve (Valerie) Katic, Peter Katic, Marco Katic and Betsy Katic; four grandchildren: Steven, Kelly, Neil, and Kara; two sisters: Joka Nenadic and Masa Pajcin; numerous nieces and nephews Kumovi and many dear friends. Preceded in death by his son, Stanley and brothers: Bosko and Ilija. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 1, 2011 at 9:00 AM directly at St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, 9191 Mississippi St., Merrillville, IN with Rev. Marko Matic officiating. At rest, St. Sava Cemetery in Libertyville, IL. Friends are invited to visit with Milos' family on Wednesday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Lincoln Ridge Funeral Home, 7607 W. Lincoln Hwy., Schererville. Pomen prayer service Wednesday at 6:30 PM. Milos was a member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church, President of U.S.B.K.J.V.D.M. Organization, and a retired employee of Inland Steel with 35 years of service.
