Darrell Adams, 73, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015. He was born on April 25, 1942 in Tulsa, OK to William Harold Adams, and Vada Marie Johnson Adams.
Darrell enjoyed fishing, Nascar, OU football, reading the Bible, his western books, and family time.
He served 4 years in the United States Navy, and was stationed in Kodiak, Alaska.
He and his late wife, Janet Adams, were married on Nov. 8, 1963. He is preceded in death by his wife, Janet, and his parents.
Darrell is survived by his children, Darrell Adams (Sheri), Richard Adams (Lauren), Diane Adams, Doug Adams (Anne), Annette Hill (Jeff), Lynn Stark (Brian), Gail Porter (Vince), and Gary Adams; grandchildren, Amy, Shaun, David, Ben, Rachael, Amanda, Brandi, Courtney, Jeffrey, Nicholas, Gregory, Kayla, Brianna, Brayden, E.V., and Joseph; numerous great-grandchildren; siblings, Lois Adams, Dorothy Fields (Ernie), Donald Adams (Janie), Ted Adams (Vicky), and David Adams; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Darrell's Graveside Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, 2:00pm, September 15, 2015 at Old Olympus Cemetery, Grove, OK.
Interment will be at Old Olympus Cemetery, Grove, OK. You may send memorials to Darrell Adams children; memorials will go toward his funeral expenses.
