Thomas R. Simpson was a constable for nearby Iosco Township, Livingston County in 1862, 1863 and 1864. He was Elizabeth's husband, married in 1863. The couple had one child, a daughter, Mary Jane Simpson, who at the age of two, in 1866, died along with her father of Typhoid. Both are buried in this cemetery.

`Researching Elizabeth's dates. I only know she died after August 18, 1868, when she last appeared on record*.
