Funeral services for Mrs Carrie Belle Carter, 72, were held at Hooper & Huddleston on Saturday, November 23 at 2 p.m., Rev Raymond White officiating with burial in Rodgers Cemetery.
Mrs Carter, a resident of the Poplar Grove community, died in the Cookeville Nursing Home Thursday following an extended illness. She was a native of Putnam County, the daughter of James D and Matilda Jane Frizzell Brewington.
Survivors are her husband, Henry Payton Carter; son, Bobby Carter, Cookeville; sister Vina Scarlett, Detroit.
