The will of “Deacon” Joseph Clark, dated December 27, 1752, prov ed February 20, 1758, mentions “my dear & loving wife Mary Clark,” eldest son Joseph Clark, son Dan Clark, daughter Mary Sanford wife of Joseph Sanford, and daughter Hannah Fowler; wife Mary and sons Joseph and Daniel appointed executors. Total of inventory: ₤3214.15.5¾. [N.H.P. 9:137, 154.]
On January 26, 1768, Thomas Baldwin and Mary Baldwin, and Jonathan Fowler and Hannah Fowler, husbands and wives of Milford, convey to Joseph and Daniel Clark of Milford, “our brethren, Executors of the last will & testament of Deac. Joseph Clark our Hon Father Late of Milford dec’d” [M.L.R. 15:62]
