She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Newton Jones; parents, Leslie Daniel Nash and Mayme Knight Nash; sister and brother-in-law, Carolyn Nash Howard (William "Bill" Howard). She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Jones Asbury (Stewart Asbury); daughter, Leslie Jones Huff, all of Knoxville; grandchildren, James Henry Asbury and Rachael Lindsay Willis (Ryan Willis); brother and sister-in-law, William "Bill" Leslie Nash, Sr. (Helen Nash); several special nieces and nephews; special cousins, Shirley and Mitzi Stephens.
Family and friends will meet at 10:30 a.m. at Woodlawn Cemetery for receiving of friends, and a graveside service following at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 9th, 2015, with Pastor Stephen Earle and Dr. Glenn Sullivan officiating. The family wants to thank the staff at The Courtyards Senior Living for their kindness and loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to South Knoxville Baptist Church.
