She was also a member of the Blue Mountain 50 Plus Club, the Women of St. John's Church, Mount Aetna, and a lifetime member of the Mount Aetna Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
She was a very beloved cousin and member of her church and community. Her life was devoted to the care of others. She was lovingly known as the unofficial "Mayor of Mt. Aetna", her lifelong home town. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Carrie was interred next to her parents.
She was preceded in death by her cousin and best friend, Josephine Mae Schell Klopp.
She was a descendant of Martinus Walborn, Sr., her fourth great grandfather and a soldier of the American Revolution.
