Evelyn - Devoted mother and grandmother - Age 83, of Elmira, NY, died July 13, 2007 at St. Joseph's Hospital after an extended stay. She was the wife of the late Walter "Huckle" Myers who died 12/12/94 of cancer. Evelyn was the daughter of the late Lena and Fred Allen.

Survived by daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn and Harvey Harris, Mary Lou and Jim Loomis; son, Walter "Bubby" Myers; special friend, Joy Litwiler, all of Elmira; grandchildren, Michelle, Marie, Melanie, Jimmer, Lynnette, and Shawn; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Bernice Dillon, Ginny Elliott, Vera Sechrist, Mary Tittsworth, and Cheryl Hall.

Predeceased by brothers, Jack, Fred, and Eugene Allen.

Those wishing may make donations in her memory to a charity of one's choice. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Kalec Funeral Home on Monday, July 16th, from 1-3 and 6-8 p.m. with her funeral service immediately following at 8 p.m., Pastor David Daniels officiating. Burial at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery.
