Evelyn W Abbott, 81, of Sullivan died 5 p.m. Wednesday (July 14, 2004) in Saint Mary's Hospital.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday in Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan, with Pastor Donald Evans officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services. Burial will be in Marrowbone Township Cemetery, Bethany Memorials donor's choice.
Mrs. Abbott was born Jan 18, 1923 in Shelbyville, the daughter of Edgar and Della Fern Smith Florey. Evelyn was retired from Brown Shoe Co., and a member of Sullivan Southern Baptist Church. She married Ivan J. Abbott on May 25, 195 in Decatur. He preceded her in death March 18, 2000.
Surviving are one niece and two nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and two brothers.
