Charles W. Spray, 95, died at 3:20 a.m. Tuesday at the McLean County Nursing Home, Normal, after a four-week illness. His funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Thursday at the Culkin Funeral Home, the Rev. Irvin Kerns officiating. Burial will be in Forrest Cemetery. Visitation will be 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Mr. Spray was born Aug. 18, 1880, in Forrest, a son of Ephraim and Eliza Rook Spray. He married Elizabeth Heppe. Jan. 23, 1913, at Kankakee. Surviving are his wife, McLean County Nursing Home, Normal; two daughters. Mrs. Dorothy Savoie, Kankakee; Mrs. Shirley Schrock, 806 E. Olive, Bloomington; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A brother and a sister preceded him in death. He was a retired Forrest farmer and resident of Kankakee and Bloomington. He attended the United Methodist Church.
