Maria Fussel, age 85, a very proud resident of Naperville, IL, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2015 at Seasons Hospice Home in Naperville. She was born on September 6, 1929 in a German settlement in Langenlutsch, Czech Republic, part of Sudentenland. Maria is survived by her loving daughter, Caroline (Mark) Janczak of St. Charles, IL; her cherished grandchildren, Bradley (Tara), Ryan, Christopher and Caitlyn Fussel, Paul Janczak; as well as her daughter-in-law, Kimberly Fussel, her sister-in-law, Ilse Fiesel, her nephew, Alfred Fiesel and her brother, Alois Richter of Munich, Germany. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Erhard Fussel in 1986 and their son, Bruno Fussel in 2014. In 1956, along with her husband and their infant son, Maria immigrated to the United States from Germany. They settled in Naperville and built their life and business there. She was a wonderful cook and baker. Maria was a loving mom, an amazing grandma and a friend to all who knew her.
