Marcia Rae (Sidebottom) Law was born on March 5, 1958 to Bud and Margaret Sidebottom in Blair, NE. In 1964 she went to Martin Luther Home and School (now Mosaic) in Beatrice, NE. she had marvelous care and training there and returned to Blair in 1977 were she became part of ENCOR and took an active part in many of their programs. She worked for several years at Lozier’s in Omaha. She was also very active in Special Olympics earning many medals and taking part in many Olympic events. She loved traveling and had many memorable trips. She was a member of the YMCA and loved the machines and the pool. She married Mitchell Law in 1988. He preceded her in death. She lived in a house in Blair with some special roommates. She was an active member of First Lutheran Church and lover her special Sunday School class and teacher. She liked singing. She moved to Good Shepherd Home in July of 2010. She was a real people person and enjoyed her hugs and kisses.
Preceded by: father Bud Sidebottom, husband Mitchell Law, grandparents Carl and Anita Hansen and D.L. and Edith Sidebottom. Survived by mother Margaret Sidebottom, sister Sharon (Steve) Ray, nephews Chris (Juli) Ray and Derik Ray, niece Karly (John) Weinberg, great nieces and nephews Halli and Corwyn Ray, and Cameron Weinberg, and many aunts, uncles and cousins."
