FUNERAL SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. MAE FORBES MINTER
Services for Mrs. Mae Forbes Minter of Duncan were held Monday in the Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. James E. Smith, minister of the First Christian Church, officiating.
Mrs. Minter died June 4 in the Duncan hospital following a brief illness. She was born December 1, 1903 in Marietta, the daughter of the late Jake and Cora Forbes. Mrs. Minter had lived in Duncan since 1954 where she was a member of the Highland Park Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, W.J. Minter, on January 4, 1975, and by a son, Elbert Earl Minter, on January 17, 1973.
She is survived by two sons, A.J. Minter of Houston, Texas and Kirby Minter of Duncan; a brother, Elbert Forbes of Dallas, Texas; five sisters, Mrs. Leona Buckner of Lubbock, Texas, Mrs. Hazel Womack of Houston, Mrs. Lucille Anderson of Ardmore, and Mrs. Eutha Johnson and Mrs. Leta Faye Wilkins, both of Marietta; 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
Burial was in the Resthaven Memorial Gardens, Duncan.
