He was a member of Masonic lodges at Chandler, Oklahoma, member of Scottish Rite, York Rite, and Shrine in Oklahoma. Was Rainbow girls Advisor, and Dad of DeMolay. Also a member of Order of Eastern Star, and was on the Grand Lodge of Oklahoma at McAlister.
He was a licensed chiropractor.
Employed by US Post Office as carrier March 5, 1904 at Springfield, Mo. Appointed as clerk at Chelsea, Ok. July 19, 1919, transferred to Chandler office July 1, 1927, and retired from the Post Office December 30, 1944.
Was a member of the Baptist Church at Chandler, Oklahoma. At time of his death he lived 3 miles West of Chandler off highway 66 on small acerage.
Always smiled, and always had white hair. He never knew a stranger. He always wore custom made shoes that were "cowboy" style but ankle height and laced.
