Mrs. Ann Marlene Medlock Young, 74, of Liberty, loving wife of the late Donald W. Young, passed away Sunday, August 23, 2015.
Ann was born in Liberty, SC on June 20, 1941 to the late James and Madgelene Simpson Medlock. She graduated Liberty High School and then finished Draughn's Business College. She worked for Sulzer in Spartanburg as an accounting clerk before her retirement and she loved to do genealogy research. Ann was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Spartanburg.
Ann was a member of Find A Grave for 7 1/2 years, volunteering many hours of her time to the site. She contributed over 700 memorials and 1200 photos during her membership, as well as her personal knowledge and research of the families of Pickens County and Liberty, SC.

Ann was survived by a daughter and son-in-
law; a sister, and a grandson of Easley, SC.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Medlock Hayes.
Graveside Services to honor the life of Mrs Young were held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at Westview Cemetery in Liberty (Simpson family plot).
