Death:	Nov. 28, 1925
Nevada Governor, Journalist and Warden. Served as Lieutenant Governor from 1907 to 1910 and Governor from 1908 to 1911. After serving in the Spanish American War, he became owner and editor of two newspapers in White Pine County. He was appointed superintendent of the state police and he served as superintendent of the state prison until his death.
