Ernest Edward "Sarge" Sullivan, 86, died July 9, 2006 at his home in Piedmont, Missouri.
He was born Aug 16, 1919, near Piedmont, son of the late Edward and Hattie (Allen) Sullivan.
He was united in marriage to Berniece Fowler on Feb 15, 1947. She survives and resides in Piedmont. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one son, Gary Ernest Sullivan of St. Louis; two daughters, Kimberly (Larry) Melton, Jonna Sullivan Sutton, all of Piedmont; one brother, Forrest Sullivan of Piedmont; one sister, Wanda Dolansky, Piedmont; daugher-in-law Brenda Sullivan, Patterson; eight grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by one son, Randy Sullivan in 1996, one brother, Floyd Sullivan, three sisters, Carmel Chiles, Dorothy Hughes, and Mable Julian, and one daughter-on-law, Suzanne Sullivan.
Graveside military honors were provided by the Southeast Missouri Honor Guard and U.S. Army.
