Mary Irene (Basham) Gibbons was born on July 10, 1926 at Ellison, West Virginia, the daughter of Aden Lewis Basham (1877-1967) and Ollie Via (Pack) Basham (1883-1954).
She was married [was married 1st to -- Bragg and 2nd?] on November 24, 1973 to Beauford Randall "Randy" Gibbons (1918-1988).
She retired from Joseph E Seagram and Sons in Relay, Maryland and was a member of TOPS International where she was very active.
Mary took great pride in being a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, crafts and spending time with her family and friends. And, she was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
A resident of Clarksville, Tennessee, she was 89 years old when she passed away on August 13, 2015 in Spring Meadows Health Care Center following a long illness.
Preceded in death by her husband, her infant son William David Bragg and by twelve brothers and sisters, she was survived by a Gibbons son; a married daughter; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held at Ronald Meadows Funeral Parlors Chapel, and burial was in Lilly-Crews Cemetery at Nimitz.
