He was preceded in death by his parents, Oscar and Allie Coggins; and sister Lib Fox.
He is survived by his sons, Johnny Carrol Coggins, Jr. (Lora), Norman Coggins all of Bybee; brother, Junior Coggins (Julie) Grassy Fork; sisters, Vickie Harvey (Mike) of Morristown, Rita Gilliland (Wilbur) of Newport, Diana Coggins of Newport and Linda Green (Amos) of Sevierville; four grandchildren; former wife, Id Coggins and stepson, Sid Mason (Melody) all of Newport.
Graveside service will be held 11:00 am Friday, August 14, 2015 in the Clark Cemetery, Hartford, TN.
