Leona was the seventh of eight children born to Orville Bradford Clark and Frankie Rowney.

Leona married Shirley Williamson and to this union four children were born: Charles, Jimmy Dale, Shirley Ann and Clinton.

Leona was a Detective and also a Quick Draw Champion. She and Shirley had a family business of Cement Contractors, that their sons have continued as their own individual companies.

Leona died of cancer at the age of 39. Her husband, Shirley, never remarried and he died 10 years later. They were both cremated and when Shirley died, their ashes were mingled together and scattered over their property in Colorado according to both of their wishes.
