William Cornelius,son of Moses and Anne (Dodson) Cornelius (she married George Phillips abt 1778 after Moses died), was a Revolutionary War Soldier. William was married to Lettice, maiden name unknown (Cargill not proven). Their graves are outlined by large stones and headstones and surrounded by the graves of family members. This cemetery is on private land and access has been denied. Photos were taken by special permission in 1994. The DAR placed a plaque for him at the Oak Hill Cemetery in Onenota, later moved to the Easly Church of the Brethren Cemetery.
