News-Democrat, Paducah, Kentucky, Wednesday, March 21, 1928, Page 2, Col. 6: Phillip Preston Kirkpatrick, 70 years old, died at his home in West Paducah, route 1, yesterday afternoon at 1:35 o'clock following four months' illness of complications.
Mr. Kirkpatrick is survived by his widow, Mrs. S. M. Kirkpatrick; two sons, Dr. R. B. Kirkpatrick; of Edinburg, Texas, and Cecil Kirkpatrick, of West Paducah; four sisters, Mrs. E. C. Davis, of Sharron, Kansas; Mrs. E. C. Moyers, of Wichita, Kansas; Mrs. E. C. Moyers, of Wichita, Kansas; Mrs. Florence Swain, of Benton, Ill., and Mrs. John Davis, of Monkeytown [Mulkeytown], Ill., and one brother, W. R. Kirkpatrick, of Roylton [Royalton], Ill. No funeral services have been made pending the arrival of Dr. Kirkpatrick from Texas.
