Ladonia (Spl) - Funeral services for Bruce O. Hulsey, 81, were held Wednesday, Aug. 9, at 4 pm at the Delta Funeral Home chapel. He died Aug 8, 1961, in a Bonham rest home. Rev Norman Vandergriff, pastor of the First Baptist Church, officiated and interment was in Providence Cemetery.

Pallbearers were L M Craig, Polly Edwards, Thomas Casper, Ebb Bartley, Earl Smith and W C Smith.

A retired farmer, Mr Hulsey was born in Ladonia July 3, 1880, the son of the late Mr and Mrs Willie Hulsey. He was married to Miss Valley Apple who preceded him in death many years ago.

Survivors are two daughters, Mrs Audrey Bateman of Kearns and Mrs Vada Cash of Fort Worth; one brother, R B Hulsey of Ladonia; two sisters, Mrs Lelia Ballaro and Miss May Hulsey, both of Ladonia; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
