Funeral services for Clifton Carl Lincecum will be held at 10:00 AM Saturday, April 11, 2009 in the Lincecum Baptist Church in Georgetown, LA. with Bro. Jim Winegeart officiating. Interment will follow in the Lincecum Cemetery under the direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.

Mr. Lincecum, 99, was born September 25, 1909 and passed from this life on April 8, 2009 at Hardtner Medical Center in Urania, LA.

Mr. Lincecum was a retired school bus driver, he served in the United States Army for 4 years and was a member of Lincecum Baptist Church.

He is survived by one brother, Gordon A. Lincecum and wife Dorothy; numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Lincecum; parents, Gideon G. and Emma Lee Lincecum; sisters, Ineta L. Prothro, Margie L. Kahn and Verlon L. Eleazar; brothers, Lloyd and John Lincecum.

Pallbearers will be Alan Wilson, Les Clark and Kyle Dabbs.

Friends may call on the Lincecum family beginning at 6 PM Friday, April 10, 2009 until 9:00 PM at Lincecum Baptist Church in Georgetown, LA.
