Barbara J. Gaffney, 52, of Wakefield died Thursday, February 11 at the New England Medical Center in Boston.
Born in Waltham on September 14, 1957 she was the daughter of James DiBacco of Medford and the late Theresa (Gandiosi) DiBacco.
Mrs. Gaffney had been a Wakefield resident for the past 27 years. She was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1975. Mrs. Gaffney had worked as a secretary for the Middlesex County District Attorney's Office.
In addition to her father, Mrs. Gaffney is survived by her husband Paul F. Gaffney, her daughter, and her six sisters and their husbands. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
