Stanley Ray Moore, 78, of Idaho Falls, passed away July 20, 2015, at Lincoln Court Assisted Living Center.

He was born November 12, 1936, in Shelton, Idaho to Willard A. Moore and Edris Lee Moore. Following high school, he attended Utah State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in civil engineering. He also served in the U.S. National Guard.

On November 24, 1962, Stan married Joyce Pearl Fowler and they were later divorced. He lived in the Wenatchee, Washington area for 44 years.
He was a professional civil engineer for the Washington State Department of Transportation and worked as an assistant project engineer during the North Cascades Highway completion.

Stan was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He is survived by:
Son: Kyle D. (Stephenie) Moore of St. Anthony, Idaho;
Son: Ryan K. (Mei Li) Moore of Katy, Texas;
Daughter: Amy S. (Troy) Barker of Bozeman, MT;
Daughter: Melinda A. (Chris) George of Idaho Falls, ID;
29 Grandchildren and 1 Great Grandchild
Sister: Donna (Lynn) Casper of Rigby, ID

He was preceded in death by his parents: an older brother, Willis Lee Moore; and granddaughter, Taylor Joy Moore.

Graveside services will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, July 25, 2015, at the Ririe-Shelton Cemetery. The family will visit with friends on Friday from 6:30-8:00 p.m at Wood Funeral Home (273 N. Ridge Ave.).
