MANCHESTER -- Jon Merle Huckins, 94, died Feb. 21, 2008, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home after a lingering illness.
He was born in Deerfield on Feb. 23. 1913, the son of John and Elizabeth M. (Davis) Huckins.
During his lifetime he had been a chef, a tree surgeon, a police officer, and a hairdresser.
SERVICES: A calling hour is Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at J.N. Boufford & Sons Funeral Home, 110 Bridge St., Manchester.
Funeral services are Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. Spring burial will be in Morrison Cemetery, Deerfield.
