Jeremiah went to Stratford, CT in 1638 with his father. Jeremiah was a prominent man in the town: a proprietor in 1638 and Ensign of the Train-Band; Freeman; Justice of the Peace; a large land owner and farmer. He was also a soldier in King Philip's War.
His first wife was Sarah Foote Judson, whom he married about 1653, and his second wife, married Nov 8,1675 at Stratford,CT, was Catherine ____ Craig Fairchild Judson, the widow of Thomas Fairchild.
Children: Isaac Judson, Mary Judson Welles, Elizabeth Judson Tomlinson(wife of Agur Tomlinson), Sarah Judson Watkins Sturges, Mercy Judson Burton, and Jeremiah Judson Jr.
