Stella was born Estella Hendricks daughter of Henry Stover Hendricks and Ellen Detweiler Hendricks Hendricks (Ellen's married and maiden name same, not typo). In 1928 She married Hiram Nice Hunsberger they lived in Doylestown and had four daughters before moving to Mississippi in 1952. Stella worked in a sewing factory when she was younger and was part of a sewing circle at Gulfhaven Mennonite church.
