Mrs. Juanita June Hennessee Boyd age 88 of Rock Island, TN, died Saturday, July 11, 2015, at her residence. She was born February 21, 1927, in Walling, TN, was the former owner of the local Merle Norman Cosmetics Studio, a homemaker, past Worthy Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, and a member of Rock Island Presbyterian Church where she also served as President of the local Presbyterian Women’s Group. Mrs. Boyd was preceded in death by parents Cecil Elijah and Mary Lou Howell Grissom, first husband John Raymond Hennessee, and a sister Helen Frances Grissom Dunlap.
Funeral service will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 17, 2015, in the McMinnville Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Doug Dunlap will officiate. Interment will follow at Crain Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 P.M. until 9 P.M. and again Friday from 11 A.M. until 1 P.M. at the parlors of McMinnville Funeral Home.
