The death of Fred Fogg occurred Thursday, May 18, at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Williams, where he has made his home for the past two years.
He was born in Springfield, Maine, Feb. 18, 1855. Mrs. Fogg passed away several years ago, and of his family of eight children, four survive: Ambrose of Dexter, Jerome of Crystal, Otis of Rockland and Mrs. Ida James of Elkland, Pa., also 32 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon in the Belvedere Church, conducted by the Rev. P.J. Quigg and the Rev. Stillman Mullen. Three hymns were sung.
Those attending from out of town were Otis Fogg and daughter Dorothy, David McFarlen and son Percy, and daughter, Mrs. Nola Hughes of Derby. Interment was in Crystal cemetery.
