"Rhoda", as she was most often called, received her education at country school near the farm where she was raised in Hamilton township of Harrison Co., MO. She was raised a member of the Methodist Episcopal South Church.
"Rhoda" married Floyd Wynn Blankenship on 31 May 1871 in Harrison Co., MO. To this union, ten children were born: John W., Alice A. (married Tackett); Flanry E.; Marvin Hendrix; Francis or Frank E.; unnamed son b & d 1885-twin of Cleveland Tabor; Alva Wesley; Oliver Edward; and Peter Floyd Blankenship.
In 1880, the family resided in Brooklyn, Harrison Co., MO.
In 1900, they resided in Union Township, Harrison Co.
In 1920, "Rhoda" was in Union Township, and widowed, head of house.
"Rhoda" died on 1 March 1928 at age 77 years, 2 months, and 23 days. PF. Blankenship, her youngest son was the informant. She died without medical attendance and had been in poor health for years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John & Sallie Grabill, her son Flanry (age 17 months); her husband Floyd in 1903; her son Cleveland in 1926;
