Obituary from The Hillsboro Mirror September 17, 1941:

"F. M. Wiesen, a resident of Hill County for the past 30 years, passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Addie Turpin, 412 South Church St, at 7:30 o'clock Sunday evening, Sept 14, aged 77 years. Funeral services were held at the Church of Christ at 3 o'clock Tuesday afternoon conducted by Elder H. W. McClish and Rev. Vernon G. Miles. Interment was in Bell Springs Cemetery under the direction of Marshall & Marshall. Mr. Wiesen was born at Harrisonburg, La., December 22, 1863. He came to Texas at the age of 15, locating in East Texas. He came to Hill County in 1911 settling near Massey and had continued to reside in this county since and for the past several years in Hillsboro. He was married to Miss Sarah L. Eastep, April 16, 1885. Mrs. Wiesen passed away Nov 30, 1936. Mr. Wiesen was a member of the Church of Christ. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Lizzie J. Stewart of Tulsa, Okla, William C. Wiesen of Houston, Mrs. Addie Turpin of Hillsboro, Mrs. Exer L. Walker of Copperas Cove, Misses Ima & Bertha Wiesen of Hillsboro, and W. T. Wiesen of Port Arthur, Texas, 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, one brother, W. D. Wiesen of Abilene and one half-sister, Mrs. Will Bryant of Rankin, Texas."
