On Sept. 24, 1861 Annie/Ane Quinn married John Keyes (abt. 1832-bef. 1900) who was a bootmaker born in Ireland.
In the 1870 Census Annie/Ane/Ann (unable to read/write) & John Keyes living in Bridgeport, he is a policeman. They have 4 children:
Catherine "Keys" age 7
Ellen/Nellie Keys age 7
Alice Keys age 2
John Keys age 4 months.
In the 1900 Census Annie/Ane/Ann [Quinn] "Keys" is age 58, widow, was married 37 years, immigrated in 1860. Living with her are
Alice Keys age 29, an inspector in corset shop.
John Keys age 27, a laborer in a rubber shop.
Annie/Ane/Ann Keys is living next door to her 2 married daughters:
Catherine [Keyes] Hanley, age 35
John Hanley, age 35, polisher in brass/iron co.
They have 4 children: Anna Hanley, Marion Hanley, Lawrence Hanley, & Alice Hanley.
Ellen/Nellie [Keyes] Corcoran age 33
James Corcoran age 34, iron worker.
They have 2 daughters: May Corcoran, & Annie Corcoran.
