Cora Madge Dalton, age 81, of Bybee, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

Mrs. Dalton was a devoted wife, cherished mother, and affectionate grandmother.

She was born July 29, 1933 in Hawkins County to the late Estel “Jack” and Mollie Carroll. She married Jimmy Dalton in 1950 and spent 50 loving years with him before his passing in 2000. She retired from Enka in 1983 to enjoy time with her family. She was also preceded in death by sisters, Christine Dean, Ruth White and Ruby Pridemore.

She is survived by her sister, Pearl Brown of Greenville, South Carolina, sons, Rev. Wayne and Susan Dalton of Bybee, Randy and Pam Dalton of Parrottsville, Ricky and Angy Dalton of Parrottsville, and Ronny and Michelle Dalton of Morristown; her grandchildren, Melissa and Todd Green, Eddie and Nikki Dalton (and future great-granddaughter, Isabella Paisley), Larry Dalton, Heather Dalton and Steven Ball, Cory Dalton, Ryan Dalton and Ashlyn Taylor, Nathan Dalton, Kelsey Dalton and Taylor Lodwick, Landon Dalton and Madison Dalton; great-grandchildren, Katie Dalton, Maylee Dalton, Jaycee Green, Micah Lodwick, and Mackenzie Clevenger, special friends, Roger and Virginia Ball and Crystal Hannah, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

The family will receive friends Saturday, July 4 from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Manes Funeral Home with funeral services following with Rev. Keith Presnell officiating. A graveside service will be held at Fowler’s Grove Methodist Church afterward.
