Dennis Ray Parton, 65, of Man, WV passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015 in Logan Regional Medical Center, Logan, WV.

He was born on January 9, 1950 in Davin, WV, a son of the late Joseph "Joe" Benjamin Parton (1909-1984) and Virgie Hattie Ogle-Parton (1914-1996). Dennis was a United States Army Vietnam Veteran, a member of the VFW and attended the Claypool United Methodist Church. He enjoyed spending time at his hunting cabin. Dennis was the best, we will never forget the hunting trips with his family and special hunting friends at the camp.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son Dennis Ray Parton, II (1972-1985); and his siblings, Charles Edward Parton (1930-2010), Elsie Viola Parton-Fraley (1932-2000), Walter Lee Parton (1934-1993), Rose Marie Parton-Aker (1937-2013), & John Robert Parton (1939-1995).

Survivors include his loving wife of 44 years Lucy Lee Pauley-Parton; a daughter Venus L. Parton; mother-in-law Ruth Rakes-Gayheart; a grandson Tyler J. Parton; and a host of other loving family and friends.
