Roger "Buck" Owens, age 54 of Maryville, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015. He was a member of Old Piney Grove Church and was preceded in death by his father, James Owens, Jr.; stepfather, Bud Lawson; grandparents, Myrtle Standifer, Jim Owens and Katie Owens.
Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, Roger and Sarah Owens; mother, Jeanette Owens and special friend Allen Cooper; brother, James "Big O" Owens; half-brother, Gary Smith; uncles, Cody Owens, Ray Owens; nephew and niece, Daniel and Jenny Owens all of Maryville; special friends, Danny Gibson, Dale Gibson, Buster Nuchols and Teresa, Todd Lawson, Randy Chambers, Teeter Sparks and others.
The family will receive friends from 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday in McCammon-Ammons-Click Funeral Home Chapel with funeral services to follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Rex Everett officiating. The interment will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Old Piney Cemetery.
