Carol A. Lease, 66, of Moravia St. passed away the morning of June 17, 2013 at her residence in New Castle.
Born on December 11, 1946 in New Castle, Carol was the daughter of the late Frank and Amelia Felix Barattiero. Preceding her in death on August 5, 2002, is her husband, Alexander L. Lease, Jr. whom she married on September 12, 1970.
Carol was a member of St. Vincent De Paul Parish. She had worked as a licensed practical nurse at various local hospitals until retiring from Edison Manor Rehabilitation Center. She enjoyed playing bingo and loved animals.
Carol is survived by her sisters, Florence Boak and her husband Bill, Evangeline Guncy, Louise Marino and her husband Tom, all of New Castle; her nieces and nephews, Robin Wolfe, Michele Runyon and her husband Don, Bryan Boak, Karen Fareri and her husband Robert, Lorrie Matteo and her husband Chris, six great-nieces and five great-nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, Carol is preceded in death by her brother-in-law, Robert (Red) Guncy and her nephews, Jeffrey Guncy and Rickie Wolfe.
