Noble R. Greer, 82, Mauckport, died Saturday, June 20, 2015, at his home.
Born April 4, 1933, in Harrison County, he was the son of the late Forest and Mildred Sonner Greer.
He was retired from the Harrison County Highway Dept., was a "powder man" for many different highway construction jobs and was a member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church near Mauckport.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Margaret B. Gardner; two daughters, Pamela Jean Greer and Mary Louise Greer; and two sisters, Irene and Darlene.
Survivors include three sons, Alvin R. Greer of Mauckport and Joey W. Greer and Rob A. Greer, both of Petersburg; a daughter, Deborah D. Clark of Louisville; 12 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Visitation: Monday, June 22, from 2 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday, June 23, after 9 a.m. at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home in Corydon.
Funeral: Tuesday, June 23, at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with burial in New Amsterdam Cemetery.
Officiant: Pastor Betty Sieberns.
Pallbearers: Alvin, Joey, Rob and A.J. Greer, Gary Clark, Gary Lawrence, Ronnie Snyder, Josh Gresham and Thomas McNulty.
The family suggests memorial gifts to the WJCR radio station outreach program in Upton, Ky., or Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church.
