Mrs. Harris and son Gordon accompanied the body to Albion, and were met by a large number of former friends. The body was taken immediately to the cemetery where a short burial service was conducted by Rev. Hinman.
Mr. Harris was in his 67th year, and up to recent years bore a rugged and healthy appearance. He was in the law and real estate business in Albion, and for a time in partnership with Charles Riley. He served one term as mayor of the city.

Arista Harris was born in Carroll county, Iowa, September 19, 1858. Died April 29, 1915, age 66 years, 7 months and 10 days. Married Lulu E. Millard September 8, 1886. To this union were born three children; two daughters who died in infancy and one son, Gordon T. Besides the wife and son, he is survived by three brothers.
The Fullerton News Journal says: Mr. Harris first came to Nance county in 1885 where he was engaged in the real estate business for two years. Following his marriage he returned to make his home here until 1891 when they went to Albion where they resided for eleven years. The family then moved to Coon Rapids where they remained till 1906 when the Harris Bros. opened offices in Bismarck, N. D. where they own considerable land at the present time. Mr. Harris is survived by his wife and son Gordon, who is a student at the college in Champaign, Ill., and three brothers, Lyman of Menoken, N. D., Frank of Bismarck, and Oliver who is in the grocery business at Champaign, Ill. The funeral services were held in Bismarck on Sunday and the remains taken to Albion and laid to rest on Tuesday beside an infant daughter. Dr. and Mrs. J. F. Johnson went to Albion Tuesday and were accompanied home by Mrs. Harris and son who will remain here a few days.
