Mrs. Smith was a long time resident of this village, having resided in the house where she died for about sixty years. She had been an invalid since 1910. She was born in the town of Springfield eighty-five years ago, her maiden name being Mary Ann Chapple. Besides her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. F. D. Page of Cooperstown; one grandson, Floyd Page of Cooperstown and one granddaughter, Mrs. C. M. Wright of Kalamazoo, Michigan.
