Evening Times, Cumberland, Maryland, Friday, Dececembe 12, 1952: "MIDLAND-Mrs. Laura Virginia Corrigan, 80, died yesterday in Memorial Hospital, Cumberland where she had been a patient 28 days. Born in Barton, she was a daughter of the late Jacob and Nancy (Broadwater) Fouch. She was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. Agnes Miller and Mrs. Elizabeth Carter, both of Midland; Mrs. Stella Yeider, Frostburg; Mrs. Stewart Spiker, Baltimore, and Mrs. Marie Gentry, Cumberland; six sons, Patrick and Frank Corrigan, both of Midland; Thomas Corrigan, Anacosta, Pa.; Leo Corrigan, California, and James and John Corrigan, Baltimore; a brother, Jacob Fouch, Barton and 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. A requiem mass will be celebrated tomorrow at a 9 a. m. in St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Rev. John Buckley, pastor, will officiate. Interment will be in Belvedere Cemetery here. The body is at the residence."
