Another Aged Lady Dies
Mrs. Isabel S. Moreland, an aged lady of the Emden community, died Saturday, January 11, at the age of 87 years. She had spent he entire life in that community, residing continuously on the farm where she died from the time she was 6 years old until her death. She was born March 7, 1831, her maiden name was Isabel S. Robertson. She married to Washington Moreland in 1849, the husband passing in 1869. She was the mother of ten children, eight of whom survive.
Funeral services were conducted Monday morning by the Rev. B. T. Wharton, of this city.

DEATH OF AGED LADY
Mrs. Isabel Moreland, aged 88 years died at the home of her son, Ben Moreland, 2 miles north east of Emden, Saturday evening at 6 o'clock from the influenza.
Her husband was the late Washington Moreland and since his death a number of years ago, she has made her home with her children. She was a loved a mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her children and friends.
Short funeral services were conducted at the grave, Monday by Rev. Wharton, of Monroe City, and her remains were laid to rest in the family burying ground.
